  • Energy Preview: WTI Crude Back Above $70 Per Barrel

  • WTI Crude oil futures surged impressively yesterday after a tumble to multi month low. The US stocks rose impressively on continued bargain buying. DOW surged around 2% on the day. Oil market also tracked media reports stating that Saudi Arabia raised its crude oil prices for Asia. The commodity was excellent buying and has edged up above the critical $70 per barrel mark today. Equities have edged up in Asia. The counter currently trades up 0.81% at $70.06 per barrel. MCX Crude oil topped Rs 5200 per barrel in last session, adding 3.34% on the day. Local crude oil also tracked the slide in Indian Rupee. The Indian Rupee plummeted as a slide above 75 per US dollar mark extended amid weak equities. The INR lost 31 paise to end at 75.43 per US dollar.
