Yes, to become an authorized Sub-Broker it is necessary to get registered with the respective stock exchanges and SEBI.
An entity (Individual, Company or Partnership firm) with good track record & reputation in financial services/other business / social circle with good client and minimum 1-2 years of experience in selling financial products as a Main broker / Sub broker / Remisier / Mutual fund distributor / Insurance Advisor/ Financial planner or an employee of existing Broker / Sub-broker with capacity to invest minimum Rs 3-5 lac initially and ability to invest continuously in Infrastructure & people as per their business requirements.
Min. 250-500sq feet of office space preferably in a prime location. Telephone line with voice logger. Workstation with VSAT/broadband network connectivity required to set up a trading terminal back office.
SMC believes that even after the association, our Business Partners/Associates should have their own identity. A Business Partner/Associate can represent himself as a Sub-Broker of SMC.
