  • Gold Tanks 1% As Commodities Turn Lower

  • COMEX Gold saw accelerated losses today as two week highs above $1870 per ounce failed to sustain. Commodities turned lower today with crude oil and copper tanking more than 2%. Profit selling emerged in the Gold too as traders focused on the upbeat performance in the production of Gold miners and also kept an eye on their positive outlook towards the output in coming months. COMEX Gold fell further today to trade at $1848 per ounce, down around 1% on the day. MCX Gold futures are also down 1% to trade at Rs 48969 per 10 grams. The counter fell after testing a high of Rs 49765 per 10 grams yesterday.
